End terminals are applied to the end of safety barriers to prevent barrier ends posing a risk of injury to motorists if they unfortunately crash with one.


There are three versions of the Ermes End Terminal for varying speed performances including: Ermes P1 - 50 km/h, Ermes P2 - 80 km/h, Ermes P4 - 110 km/h.

The Ermes P4 End Terminal offers the performance of a crash cushion at the price of a P4 terminal.  Double-sided and made entirely from steel, the Ermes End Terminal family provide essential energy absorbing elements. They are repairable, just like a crash cushion, which reduces both maintenance cost and time.


Ermes End Terminals are shorter lengths than competitor systems, so where space is limited Highway Care can install where others can't.

The Ermes End Terminal family offer flexible installation options for a number of surfaces including soil, asphalt and concrete.​ The Ermes P4 End Terminal offers best in class performance, with D1.1 and Z1 performance.
