A message to our customers and business partners
Whilst we have contacted most, if not all, of our clients individually, we thought it best to communicate this message to all our clients, partners and the wider community regarding our approach to the evolving UK COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the beginning of this situation, Highway Care has taken a proactive approach by continually reviewing Government advice and by taking a risk-based approach to managing this unique situation.
Focusing on providing a business as usual service whilst implementing increased measures to support Government advice and most importantly to ensure we protect the health, safety, welfare and wellbeing of our employees, customers, partners and members of the general public.
However, since the latest Government advice and as a result of a reduced programme of works, we have taken the decision to furlough a proportion of the company’s employees, until the situation improves.
We Continue to Remain Open for Business but with some important changes to the way we work.

We have implemented the use of video conferencing to facilitate ongoing communication both internally and externally, with our customers, suppliers and partners, and will continue to use this facility more broadly.
Our Operational team(s) have been temporarily condensed, following the Governments stay home advice, to support prevention of the spread of the virus. To service existing customers and provide services in the event of emergencies for Highway and Security customers, we have specialist “key worker” Response teams on standby, as necessary. They are adhering to the government guidelines of social distancing and remain 2m apart when working where possible.
Measures are in place to continue the supply and distribution of products and spare parts however please accept that we may experience some delays due to issues beyond our control.
We will always be there for our customers, as we operate under our business continuity and contingency plans during this period.
We continue to maintain our collaborative approach in providing solutions, especially at this time to ensure essential and or critical activities are completed to keep the road network open and securing critical infrastructure and sites.
This situation is unlike anything we have experienced before and whilst we continue to monitor and react accordingly throughout this unprecedented period, the health, safety, welfare and wellbeing of our employees, and our customers, is our main priority.
