Well, you're in luck because we will be finding out about what makes our employees tick in both their personal and professional lives every couple of weeks.
This interview was with Alex Marsh, Field Applications Engineer based at Denne Court.
"So Alex, how would you describe your job in a nutshell?" A: A mixed bag of customer support, technical documentation and site visits.
"Keeping you nice and busy, how long have you been at Highway Care?" A: 1 year and 9 months
"Great! What is it that you enjoy most about your job?" A: My role is so varied and also I'm in a completely new industry now so there is always something new to learn about.
"Alongside that, what do you put off the most when doing your job?" A: Site visits in horrible weather!
"How about you, what’s your biggest achievement to date – personally or professionally?" A: Restoring my classic mini. (TELL US MORE!)
A: Sure! The work I've done so far has consisted of stripping it back to a bare shell, welding in new panels whilst also replacing and up-rating the running gear, subframes and suspension. Not forgetting respraying, tuning the engine and giving it a spruce with all new interior! It's been a big job but it's definitely worth it in the end!

"In three words, how would you describe your job role at Highway Care?" A: Customer-focused, technical and essential.
"If you could switch roles with someone at Highway Care for the day, who would it be?" A: A member of the operations team, so that I can see my work on from a different perspective.
