A: My biggest professional achievement was to become a Transport Manager and then use my qualifications in the real word and try to abide by all associated requirements as an industry professional to make any company I work for safer and more efficient

Q: What do you put off most when doing your job?

A: Filing, I’m awful at it.

A: Marketing team, I like the creative nature of what they do to promote and inform so many people whether internal and external, plus they are always happy people.

Q: What are your biggest professional challenges?

A: Not allowing job pressures to make me choose a wrong decision that would force us to potentially run illegal or unsafe with the fleet and equipment we operate.

Q: Where do you see yourself in the business in 5 years' time? A: Really don’t know, I’m sure the company will evolve and change as it has always done since I started, so will have to see what comes my way on my own journey.

Alongside all of his hard work within Highway Care, John is currently running a Virtual 10K Event with Dymock Cricket Club. We've been a sponsor of the D.C.C run for the past couple of years but due to the current #covid19 pandemic, this year is running a little different. Whether you run the official route or walk your own, alone or in a #socialdistancing group of up to 6, we hope you get involved as all the money raised will go to local community projects.

If you're interested in taking part, either contact John or register TODAY, in time for Saturday 24th October 2020:

Thank you for reading and we look forward to introducing you to another member of our team soon.
