Moveable Barrier on the M20

On Friday 25th September, the Highway Care Operational Delivery Services team, installed and transferred moveable barrier using the barrier transfer machine on the M20.

Adapting to the flow of traffic, the Road Zipper holds a wide range of advantages including saving time, man-power and enhancing road safety; which are clearly visible from a bird's eye view. 

This is a proud moment for the team, who have spent a number of weeks training with the barrier transfer machine at Manston airport with the rest of the delivery project team including Highways England, Balfour Beatty, Lindsay Transport Solution and Atkins. Thanks to the team on collaborating with us on the next step in UK road safety innovation.
