Welcoming Highway Care's new HSEQ Manager

Highway Care's 2020 story has lead to new avenues and with that, we have broadened the business and acquired new professional colleagues. We'd like to take this time to introduce one of our newest member of our team Marie Simpson, our HSEQ Manager:

"For the last 25 years, I have worked across several Engineering sectors – civils, building, highways, rail, telecoms and manufacturing – in the capacity of quality, safety and environment management, highway and tunnel maintenance, traffic management design and works supervision. I have been privileged to work with excellent colleagues and teams throughout my career.

I’m really excited to join Highway Care – this company are innovators and a real advocate for progress and change. A bonus for me is that I get to come back to my favourite field of engineering – Highways.

My role in Highway Care will be to build upon the excellent work and success of the existing management systems and to continue the drive towards people-focussed processes and behaviour-based safety.

I live in the countryside outside Maidstone, with my husband and 4 dogs. We love sailing, hiking and mountain biking at any opportunity!"
