Tree Crash Cushion

As the name suggests, the Tree Crash Cushion is designed specifically to protect vehicle occupants from collisions with trees and other roadside hazards, and to protect the tree or other hazards from damage.

The Tree Crash Cushion system consists of two City Crash Cushions with a connecting panel, which is adjustable in length to suit varying hazards.

Chamfered corners prevent the risk of harm to pedestrians and market-leading short system lengths, combined with a low permanent lateral displacement zone (D1), means the Tree Crash Cushion can be installed where others cannot. The Z1 vehicle exit box class achieved by the Tree Crash Cushion lowers the risk of any redirected impacting vehicle encroaching into any hazard or area occupied by road users or road workers.

The Tree Crash Cushion also provides excellent cost efficiency throughout its service life. Repairable after an impact with minimal tools and equipment, it can be put back into service quickly and driven posts typically do not require replacement following an impact.
