Overview

Highway Care has worked with Arbus Ltd who installed Tertu TimberRail T22 Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) with additional pedestrian handrail, driven posts and a 4-metre ramped end terminal. The system also features rear post cladding with an anti-tamper mechanism. This has led to a protective measure within the new housing estate, accompanied by additional practical, sustainable and aesthetic benefits.

Solutions

Highway Care was approached by Arbus Ltd to supply a TimberRail T22 VRS solution with the additional requirements of a pedestrian handrail. The VRS was to run adjacent to an attenuation basin and complement the rural surroundings of the new housing development.

After working closely with the customer to design a solution which fulfilled their requirements, as well as offering additional benefits, we have provided a Tertu T22 and handrail solution with driven posts and 4-metre ramped end terminals. The design also features rear post cladding with an anti-tamper mechanism. This solution is CE marked to provide longevity, and carries excellent green credentials, being fully
recyclable.

Aesthetically Pleasing

Tertu TimberRail combines the strength of a steel structure with the attractive appearance of a renewable timber exterior.

Additional Accessories

Additional accessories, such as handrails, can be added to the system to add a practical element as well as the high level protection offered by VRS.

Tertu TimberRail is available in a range of working widths and system profiles. We suggest an installation adapted to meet all of your requirements.

Sustainable

The range includes several carbon-neutral and negative products, and all variants are fully recyclable at end of their service life.
