Highway Care celebrates seven consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards
Highway Care has reached a significant milestone in its continued commitment to occupational health and safety, achieving a RoSPA Gold Medal in recognition of seven consecutive Gold Awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The achievement recognises Highway Care’s consistently high standards of occupational health and safety and its ongoing commitment to maintaining a positive safety culture across the business. The Gold Medal is awarded to organisations that have demonstrated excellence in health and safety for more than five consecutive years, making this a particularly significant milestone for Highway Care.
The Highway Care team recently attended the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards ceremony in London to collect the award, celebrating seven years of consistent achievement.
With the motto ‘accidents don’t have to happen’, RoSPA has long been helping to make the world safer. Its focus on preventing avoidable accidents and promoting safer workplaces and roads closely aligns with Highway Care’s own commitment to helping keep people and places safer.
As a company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for a safer future, safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our RoSPA Gold Medal is an important recognition of the work our teams put into maintaining high standards of health and safety across our operations, and reflects the shared commitment to safety that runs throughout the business.
Highway Care’s SHEQ Manager Craig Jones commented:
“You would expect a company dedicated to road safety and road worker safety to embed health and safety best practice into its operations, but maintaining our SHEQ performance year after year takes much more than policies and procedures.
“Seven consecutive Gold Awards are a real testament to the commitment of our people and the safety culture we have built across the business. Whether we’re in the office, at the depot or on site, everyone has a role to play in keeping ourselves and those around us safe.
“I’m incredibly proud to see Highway Care recognised with a RoSPA Gold Medal and would like to thank every member of the team for their continued commitment to maintaining such high standards.”
